What a bust this Russia Story turned out to be!!

Putin just needs to stfu about the US as parasitical, when his own is thievery and oppressing.People become poorer than in Zimbabwe, being thrown in jails for likes in social media. Russia has more overseers nowadays than fascist Germany on occupied eropean countries in 40-th!

Madman is just injured and rejected and outta his damn mind yet.

I could say something intelligent.. could.. but seeing the mess today I'll just post a reminder of what hope used to look like, wrapped in the excellent before the open, Opus.

Charlie Chaplin (an actual genius) in the famous great dictator speech from the 1940 movie expressed an admirable ideal.

This is what I don't get.
Let say you believe Russian trolls in social media could have influenced enough voters to swing the election for Trump. What is wrong with that?

Why are we acting like this is some sort of problem
Do we not live in a free country.
Do we not want a free internet world wide
Do we not believe in the marketplace of ideas?
Do we not try to influence others.
Slarti, freddie, and tons of others on this social media site are here almost everyday trying to influence americans
We have the DNC trolls destroying this board trying to influence americans.

Why is it Okay for some but not others.
Is not social media just small time newspaper ownership or media company ownership.
Should I be pissed if Putin runs a troll farm but Soros runs a troll farm and runs community organizers and buys half the democrats in Congress?

So if a few trolls steal someone identity to buy ads... yeah.. thats wrong. Punish them if you can find them.

But the idea they can't buy facebook ads? Why the hell not?
By the way.. don't tell me I am a stooge for putin.
I have always argued for a free marketplace of ideas or if you are going to restrict speech it must be done fairly without regard to content.

I read slarti says he owns land in California. Putin owns uranium mines in the US big deal. You are a foreigner trying to influence. You and Freddie and all the foreigners are no better or worse than a troll in St. Peterburg. I welcome you to participate in commenting about US politics. But if you have a problem with a troll farm in St. Petersburg you should have a problem with yourselves.

What about foreign trolls on this site? How are they different than the Russians that were indicted?

It is rather amusing that non-US citizens who spend their days telling Americans how their politics should run are vehemently against the fact that Russians, in a small amount of cyberspace, told Americans how their politics should run.

Of course, if Hillary had won we'd never have heard anything about this.

The guilt in you is really starting to tighten..Its fairly obvious you’re a paid troll and once they start regulating the troll biz which they will, well you know how that goes...Can you actually with a straight face say it’s just posters on the left who are trying to influence on here? Why don’t you post this on your R.E. Website so all your clients and potential clients know your views. Full transparency and the sharing of ideas and a free marketplace.

Of course not. Folks on the right doing the same, and there are some of them not from the US as well. But then again it's not the right side of the political aisle trying to put people in prison for it.

As for Jem not posting his personal views on his business website, I believe the answer would be - it's not relevant, and there would be people who decide Jem isn't a good RE agent because of his personal political views. Business is business, and it shouldn't be about political views, or gender, or orientation, or race, etc.
