I can assure you that Trump knows that New Mexico is a U.S. State! As such, his remark is not a "gaffe." Remarks such as this are coming from the same place in his psyche as, for example, his remark that he could, in plain sight, get away with shooting someone on Fifth Avenue, or his showing a map on which the weather service's hurricane path has been altered with a sharpy to show a threat to Alabama. Having a president with a serious personality disorder is extremely dangerous. The negative repercussions could be long lasting and difficult to overcome.

You're correct. Trump's gaffe count is orders of magnitude higher than any other politician, with the exception of perhaps Pelosi and maybe a few others. This is because Trump goes off the hip too many times. Probably also because the guy is an unrefined individual.

My kid just recently suggested we open a tinfoil covered nursing home and sent me this "perfect for you".
I only have a tinfoil baking tray positioned behind the router to focus the signal better to the room I'm in (too much concrete and missus sulks about the hard cable on the floor) and some more on the external USB antenna on the laptop..
