Went To The Mall Today

It's Xmas season and for American women, shopping for useless Chinese made junk is the cure all for everything.

However buying that cheap Chinese sweat shop made lingerie does not translate into reality.

Businesses cut backs are a leading indicator for future job cuts.

Which means all these shoppers will have no jobs pretty soon

Funny you say that. I went into a "Beauty Shop" to buy some shampoo.

I asked the owner how was business and she replied that we were pretty much recession proof "because women will spend their last penny on themselves"

Wow that's interesting. Browsing through ET I thought the only products Americans are stocking up on these days are safes, warm blankets, canned soups and shotgun shells

No, I'm a Capitalist.

I'm for America, "Land of Opportunity", "Home of the Free and the Brave", "Government of the people, by the people and for the people", and "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness"... where the government respects individual rights and freedoms, respects personal property and does not overstep its power beyond Constitutional limits.

Last time I checked, the most Capitalistic government was in Hong Kong. The government provides police and fire protection plus infrastructure (roads, sewer, electric grid, etc.) and not much else... all for a 15% flat tax.

The lesser and the smaller the government, the better. The further America drifts from that (maybe "drifts" is not the right term here... mayby "RACES"), the less I like it.

Gnome,

Check this funny stuff out.

Maybe it's because any of us who have more than 2 nickels to rub together realize NObama and Pelosi plan to confiscate our wealth and distribute to ne'er-do-wells and illegal immigrants... you know, so they can "have the kind of lives they deserve"..

They'd rather spend it than have it taken away by the DemoCrap Socialist Bastards...

short selling and ownership of gold will be outlawed.
