Unfortunately the quality of the food isn't the biggest determinant in fast foods. Just look at Subway vs Quiznos. Subway always remind me of how the school cafetaria, the way they served up the sandwiches assembly line. Not very appetizing. Quiznos has those tasty toasted subs. Taste-wise, Quiznos is so much better but Subway went on that health kick advertising campaign that was really popular. Plus the dollar foot longs. It's all about advertising and management.

I used to own a Quiznos franchise, worst investment I ever made. Sold for a substantial loss a few years later. And I agree, I love the subs, but food quality is definitely not the only determinant of success.
I was in a Wendy's for the first time in over a year, and I was very disappointed. I'm cheap and usually order off the value menu, the value burgers are much smaller than they used to be, and they raised the price as well. Not a winning recipe. I'll stick with MCD in the future. Bottom line, I think WEN is in trouble as well.

The only thing I didnt like about Wendys (the one on Broadway, downtown) was the rude staff, low life junkies, and a toilet that was never cleaned and stank to high heaven.
