After the debate, where it became clear that Tony was likely to get his wish, I decided to PM him to find out what the master plan was with the progressives. After talking with a friend here, I figured I'd wait to see if he would show up.

Most, if not all, of the left figured out long ago that the "Boogymonster" was back. An experiment to see how well the right could pick up on clues. I hope everyone was amused, and thanks for playing along.

NY_Hood has had THREE NICs in the couple of months of Tuxan.

But beyond that, I was curious to see if my treatments for long COVID had worked. I've been taking metformin for the past six months, and it has helped me feel like my old self again. I'm not as inclined to stomp on stupid fascists (with my size 16s).

I think I did pretty well, the Hulk is calm. @Tsing Tao finally picked up on a post that was a classic example of how I would reply in a way that "team good" would easily understand, while "team Buy1-loves-Trump" would be confounded.

Yes, long COVID has been messing with my glucose levels since early 2020, making me prickly and aggressive. But to be fair, the right here really are staggeringly unobservant and don't connect the dots well. I also retired from trading in 2020, as I had made enough, but I didn't feel like myself anymore.Maybe that's why they tolerate Trump... they just don't connect the dots well?

So, apologies to any friends, I didn't think it would take this long truly. I've just been waiting around for Tony and was sad to see Cuddles gone. As I mentioned to a friend here, I wonder how long it will take them to sense me...just not the grouchy me. :)

By the way, there's no Durham in Florida (a minor clue in the profile). I'm in Florida because my VPN is there, but I'm actually back across the pond these last few days. My post last night was from a very tired me, and TsingTao caught it.

One more thing: I recently learned that I was mistaken about my citizenship status all these years. It turns out I became a U.S. citizen at birth, with no need to apply for recognition by age 18 (and yes, I've started a process with the IRS).But I'll definitely renounce it if Trump wins. :)

Putting on another skin doesn't make you more intelligent. Keep that in mind for the next time you show up and pretend to be someone else.

Anyway, I didn't continue the charade after being detected and I am a lot lighter and more positive a person these days.

In a way this has been an elaborate health and fitness post. :). Metformin is great stuff.

The meme last night was very clear to our more perceptive people. I was saying thay ZH is not just any bad source, it's a very particular bad source that is very cleverly made to ensnare people who get a buzz off negativity (addicted to it).

@Tsing Tao can be such sourpuss and he is just irritated that it took him so long.

The only way the prior post makes no sense is if you had forgotten that JD Vance has changed his name four times.

I should say that I also wanted to just tell Tony Stark who we know had Covid as well, that long Covid is very, very real, should that help him in any way.

It "took me so long"? I've got news, and this might shatter your ego, so I apologize. But I'm not looking for you. I couldn't care less about your insignificance, other than the few moments I come to this site to let off some steam.

I just remember reading your posts going "what the hell is this person trying to say?" You're so obscure and mentally frazzled that anyone with an IQ over 100 will struggle getting signal from the massive amount of noise. The garbled nonsense that you write has no point whatsoever. Like ever.

But you need to know this (if you're capable of learning, that is). Whatever name you come back with won't matter. Your stupidity is your fingerprint.

I know you were banned before, and couldn't stay away. But I'd support you not being banned again. At least we don't have to wonder if the next idiot is actually you, or a fresh idiot.

My generally absurdist perspective leads to observations that might go over heads. Others who are more mentally and morally attuned consistently grasp the connection.

As said philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein:"If a lion could speak, we could not understand him."

This quote suggests that even if someone is expressing ideas clearly, they may still be misunderstood if the listener is not capable of grasping the context or perspective. In this case, the "lion" represents the absurdist perspective, which others may struggle to understand.

I agree however, maybe sometimes it's better to say nothing than express a notion that one knows even when writing it is never going to be picked up by the person being addressed. Sometimes the quality just isn't there in the remark anyway and my mental editor should have held back.

Don't make yourself sound like some misunderstood genius. You're nothing of the sort. You never engage direct questions - you and I have been going back and forth like, a week? Two? And every single time I've tried to get you to elaborate on something you say "I'll research and get back to you." But of course, you never do.

No, you're about throwing out word salads and inuendo, masking your lack of substance by adding more words that don't say anything. Instead of justifying it, try to get better. I assume you don't, because if you did, you'd have to come to an uncomfortable realization that you aren't as smart as you think you are.
