I think Dr. Ablow raised a very valid issue. What exactly is motivating obama to expose the country unnecessarily to a disease that could conceivably kill tens of thousands of people if not more?
We have an administration composed largely of incompetent, affirmative action radicals. They look at the world very differently than normal people. Look at the choices they made in the middle east, supporting the muslim brotherhood and endangering israel. Look at the mess they made of their signature project, obamacare. The normal presumption that our leaders know what they are doing clearly is not warranted with this crowd.
I have yet to hear a rational explanation for not banning travel from affected areas. Dr. Frieden's explanation was frankly ludicrous. DB tried but he could only come up with the idea that a ban might not be totally effective, so we should just forget it.
In the meantime, there are thousands of visas outstanding for noncitizens to travel from those countries. Incredibly, our Consulates are busily approving even more.
If there is a leader out there among the republicans, now would be a great time for him to stand up and offer an alternative approach.

I agree with Ablow. I think Odumbo is doing all of this by design.
The southern border can be explained as pure politics. Democrats want as many poor, uneducated hispanics here as possible, with the idea that they'll get them to vote somehow. The fact that obama willingly has exposed children in this country to unheard of diseases as a byproduct of his plan speaks to the man's utter lack of character or conscience.
