Imo, corps receive "welfare" because prior regulation or taxes have unintended consequences on these corps. The welfare is an attempt to mitigate the situation. It is easier to dole out some welfare than revisit the ill designed law which brought about the need for welfare in the first place.

Wall street is a gov't welfare program for the rich these days.
only working class people involved in wall street is because of company retirement funds,force to contribute to wall street. freaking company deducts like 3% of paycheck to 401k funds or Employee purchase plans crap.a nd if you they buy they can save on taxes etc. only reason these working class buying these funds to pay less tax. that is where all that new money is from who the fuck would want to buy apple or google at these prices as individual stocks. mutual fund are the dumb money. or blind money..they buy anything.

I agree Corporations should not be receiving any advantages. No health care tax subsidies, not even a tax on its operation, it should be transparent.
