it will be a huge drag on the american economy + the government sector with its billions if not trillions in unfunded pension liabilities
 
Capitalism won't be destroyed, the middle class will. Only somebody working for an employer that confiscates taxes ahead of time can be taxed. Small business people can wriggle out of taxation Corporations receive more from the public sector than they pay out in some cases.

Mixing in social security, which is people receiving their own money back that was confiscated from them by the gov't, with medicaid and food stamps, and calling them all "public assistance" is as perverted as the kind of sex that you san francisco deviants engage in, Mikey.
 
For the last 100 years, it has been the goal of the "Progressive Left" to make the majority of the populace dependent upon the Federal Government. With 50% of the vote already, they will eventually be able to enslave ALL of us... and be like every other oppressive, State-Centric government throughout history.

Is that OK with you? To become enslaved? For your children and grandchildren to be enslaved.... with no hope of freedom and no hope of achieving "the American dream"... just so your lazy ass can receive a government check "for free"? If so, SHAME ON YOU!
