Weekly P&L 125 - sideways week, yearly P&L $-69598 - sucks.
Bye Bye 2022 - I won't miss you. I'm adding some funds to my account - mainly cause I'm over leveraged and want to have more margin cushion. I will start next year with 1.35M. This year my net worth dropped roughly 10% - went from 4M to 3.6M - 70.000 was my trading loss, 30.000 was living above my means (this will be even more the next couple years when I get to spend 160.000/year for college rather than the 80 this year). 300.000 is roughly what my real estate dropped - so not the best year that's for sure.Luckily my life is the same with 2M, 4M or 6M net worth :)
On the other hand I could be down 20% like the S&P. My 70.000$ loss is a 6% loss of my trading account - my first red year in four years. I pretty much traded sideways since the beginning of the journal in July - but so did the S&P - so I can't claim victory here.
Happy new year everyone - I have high hopes of a six figure gain next year!!

Reduced trading size a lot after CPI - this could have been a bigger gain. Trading is easy when vol and direction match :)

Just curious, what does the best version of you look like? What mindset shifts do you need to make to get there?

Increased size too quickly - got killed on Wednesday and Friday - big movers are killing my trading. Had a real good run for 10 ish days before old patterns snuck in - hoping i can motivate myself this week to avoid them.
