Alright here is the wake-up call: no one here owes you anything, do not rely on anonymous internet assholes (me being one of them) to turn your life around. You need help and get face to face help asap. Does not need to be a pricey shrink.I'm hoping for the community to hold me accountable. I realize that most of this is just me dumping things "out there" which I hope is the first step.
I'm thinking of a basic 6 bullet score card like:
fitness
drug use
sleep
work productivity
trading plan execution
family/compassion (no idea how to quantify that)
If all of these score well my life is usually going pretty good.

Easy method to test out and see if it helps you get some good shut-eye.
Grab a bottle of melatonin 3mg tabs and a tab-splitter anywhere that has aspirin and vitamins.
Set a time to have head on pillow, no ifs ands or buts.
A few minutes before you hit the rack break one of the tabs in half, then break it in half again.
You can use wirecutters for this too.
Take that ~1mg melatonin and put it under your tongue.
Head on pillow, cut the light.
If your mind wanders, there's an easy way to deal with that too.
One step at a time.
You may get to where you use this method only periodically.
Tell us how you do after a couple weeks.
Under the tongue 5-10 min before works great for me. Doesn't work at all for others.Dose is about right, but best to take it 1-2 hours prior to pillow time.

And rate how well you are doing for each type.
Probably another section for Charity giving as well.
