BLAH. I cannot like music like this, because it sounds like a plain version of the music that came before it, 30 years ago. Just...boring to us now.

You picked not a very good Death cab song. They have so many great tracks to choose from...
Transatlanticism - Death Cab for Cuties is by far their best song... it is a song about long distance relationship (Transatlantic relationship), but it might as well as be the isolation people feel in the modern world living next to each other but separated by the fear & loathing of online culture and the mustard acidic sh*t of /ES ticks. And yet our longing for genuine connections... beyond wealth, fame and sex what CNBC feeds us - just read the youtube comments to understand what this song meant to a lot of people.
Also the entire Postal Service album (another Death Cab collab)... where the music video of Such Great Heights about the alienation and the potential romance between two semiconductor production engineers are made sterile by technology in a chip cleanroom was adapted ironically shot-by-shot by Apple Computer and Intel Corporation to celebrate the introduction of Intel chip-set into Mac's.
It fit the circumstance.
