I'm also considering Santandar a bank I know nothing about but this-
LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Spain's Banco Santander and BBVA may be rated the two healthiest banks in Europe when the European Union publishes the results of "stress tests" in the coming weeks, while analysts say Germany's unlisted landesbanks could be among the weakest.

EU leaders agreed on Thursday to publish the results of the tests no later than the second half of July after the governor of the Bank of Spain said he would release the results of tests on Spanish banks, whether or not there was an agreement.

I've sent a request in to the hedge fund. they never got back yesterday if they don't today I'll know I've done something wrong and have to go through all my emails.

Imagine having an important job you worked on the street for years and now you have your own small hedge fund and because you live down the street from some crazy lady who parked funds with you-- thus you are polite enough to receive a steady stream of incites and stk picks from the stonedinvestor on the market... I believe we may get into STD today.

I have to go now so I left it in the hedge fund's hands if their analyst comes back positive we will own it I told them to sell an American bank in it's place. I think the bounce could be nice in Europe.

I also reminded them I wanted to talk about Anadarko next week.

Happy 1st day of summer--

I love summer. Even with tingly feet.

We enter the day hoping our tech pickup SMOD breaks up and over $7 today and out APC play works out. Speaking of Anadarko- they finally had something to say about the spill and their liabilities-

The mounting evidence clearly demonstrates that this tragedy was preventable and the direct result of BP’s reckless decisions and actions. Frankly, we are shocked by the publicly available information that has been disclosed in recent investigations and during this week’s testimony that, among other things, indicates BP operated unsafely and failed to monitor and react to several critical warning signs during the drilling of the Macondo well. BP’s behavior and actions likely represent gross negligence or willful misconduct and thus affect the obligations of the parties under the operating agreement.

Under the terms of the joint operating agreement (JOA) related to the Mississippi Canyon block 252 lease, BP, as operator, owed duties to its co-owners including Anadarko to perform the drilling of the well in a good and workmanlike manner and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The JOA also provides that BP is responsible to its co-owners for damages caused by its gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Citi reiterates a 'Hold' rating on SMART Modular Technologies Inc (Nasdaq: SMOD), raises price target from $8.35 to $9.

Citi analyst says, "We are encouraged that the company is investing in the future ramp of SSD and believe it will be an attractive growth opportunity in 2011 and beyond. While we anticipated the ramp in R&D spend and believe it is the right decision, we recognize some investors may be tempered by its impact to margins over the next 3-4 quarters. We wait to address SMOD’s pace & progress of SSD, reiterating our Hold."

Folks if every stk of mine went from $7 to $9 I'd be so happy! Typical of the street, ayyyyy.

Annaly Capital Management, Inc. (NYSE: NLY) declared the second quarter 2010 common stock cash dividend of $0.68 per common share, or $2.72 annualized. The dividend is a 4.6% increase over the previous rate of $0.65.

This dividend is payable July 29, 2010 to common shareholders of record on June 29, 2010. The ex-dividend date is June 25, 2010.

Yield on the dividend is 15.2%.

The acquisition is expected to close within the next 30 working days. The acquired facility will increase the Company's output level to 355,000 metric tons which currently produces both traditional and organic compound fertilizer products. The 300,000 metric ton facility currently has a utilization rate of approximately 60% and is expected to contribute at least $8 million in net income in fiscal year ending June 30, 2011.

But read carefully-- total production 355,000 now. The facility to be bought is a
300,000 metric ton facility. Now we have to discount back 60% (subtract 40%)
but no matter how you slice it- this is a big increase in production.

Step 1) Close eyes and buy in online acct.

Step 2) Send panicked high strung email to hedge Fund requesting any street commentary they can find on the Bloomberg.

Step 3) Admit that this low life company that raised money before ASCO and took away a near 25% gain for yours truly-- has turned into a major headache.

Step 4) Cut and run? Play the bounce? Go Full Bore?.

Not how we wanted to start the week, I'll tell you that. Thank goodness everything else is up. let's go to work. ~stoney
 
In reading the PR over. It''s obviously this paragraph that has everyone in an uproar-

In a recent communication, FDA has indicated that the Company could conduct the pivotal trial as designed without SPA and that approvability would be determined by the data, balanced with risks and benefits. FDA presently considers the endpoints as designated for the proposed pivotal trial as not supportive of SPA in this disease setting, although they would grant SPA with modified endpoints. The Company intends to request a meeting with FDA, regarding the proposed designation of study endpoints while it weighs the advisability of moving forward with the current design. Therefore the Company expects enrollment in PICASSO III to begin in the third quarter rather than this month, as previously disclosed.

Again. Trial pushed off from this month to 3rd qtr. Is this just a timing issue?
That's what we will have to dig for. So far it would seem that way and that certainly would not warrant such a haircut.

Morgan Stanley came out with a buy report on Vale’s (ADR) (NYSE: VALE) September $31 call.

According to Barron’s, analysts believe that iron ore prices are expected to increase in the near term despite the weakness is global steel prices, which may have a direct effect on the stock price. They also believe that the options are richly priced compared to their peers.

The only concern buying the call is the China’s economic slowdown, which according to Morgan Stanley won’t hamper much, as it has a bullish call on China as well.

SPRD would be the next trade up. Interday looks good. I would have to sell something.

VRUS is a top candidate I don't think it's going much higher and I have a modest $2K gain.

The other idea more PPO.
The other other idea take a large lot stab at APC.
