Weird Problem with TWS

Today I entered an order to sell. I already owned the stock so not shorting.

The TWS showed green. But my balance did not decrease. I pressed the cancel button and the screen showed magenta.

I waited, checked the account management screen, for executed trades it was showing nothing.

When I queried IB they say that my account shows no trades for today.

The audit trail shows the orders but with zero volume?

Has this happened to anyone else.

Man but this is really weird.

Yes, it happening to me once. Even closing TWS down and reloading. At the nightly reset, everything was fine.

Check your audit trail to make sure it does not show any executions/fills.
 
Thats just it the audit trail shows nothing. I bombed the TWS, interesting that the only way I could get it to stop was by bombing the process.

When it comes back up everything was fine.

I was running quite a few dde links into Excel at the time. And Excel was putting some strain on the processor.

Wonder if that has something to do with it?
