Quote from Robert Weinstein:
One small trade today
I made one gap up trade today in the open that was executed perfectly and exited perfectly based on the rules of the trade.
I did keep the share size small and I could have traded it larger but flawless execution is what I was focused on.

Good job Robert, however, you need to trade like this all the time. I was in a trade yesterday when my indicators reversed, so I got out at break even since the trade no longer made sense. Today was good for me, I took a long trade against the trend, but gave it enough room to run, and made a profit.
Short trades would have been good for me earlier, but I was not there to see them, and did not have a good limit sell order in over night which would have been a good idea.
If you make a mistake and don't like a trade anymore and you know you made a mistake, its best to close it. I had 1 more trade today it was a short and this time I thought it was in sim since I was done real trading. I realized it was in my real account, and closed it for a slight profit even though it would have made more money if I left it alone. However, it was not a trade that I was planning on making so I closed it.
Quote from Robert Weinstein:
Pretty busy day today
DLTR gave a B8 short signal and I shorted it at 54.80 the dead top of the move. It then spent over an hour near my BE point and then started to move higher. I faded the move higher but was not very aggressive when I received the second short signal but did add to the trade. DLTR floated for the rest of the day near the second point and I started to cover a small amount on the down moves and shorted on the moves higher. In the process I raised my basis and realized a small loss but also lowered my risk. Carrying over to tomorrow looking for either a bump higher at the open which I will fade or a open lower which I expect to cover with a gain. â 79
