Hi Brian,
Thanks and I wish you the very best in your trading. It can be really great if you love it. Otherwise its a tough way to make an easy living to quote someone
I stopped posting on t2w due to time restraints and the layout of the site just never meshed well with me although the people on the site where great.
I like ET in how its layed out and the people on here so with a limited amount of time I focus my attention here.
I don't know anyone that makes a living playing roulette....LOL and if there is I would doubt that it would even be 5% with the large vig the casino gets..... (I know you know)
I do know some professional poker players though and I think this is better. No blinds to pay. If someone is willing to they can sit and do nothing until they have pocket AAs before putting their money in the middle. the hard part is waiting it out and even if you get past that point you have to know how hard to push it and when to hit the exit. something I am still working on and I would guess the learning never ends
again, best to you in trading
Robert

Quote from Brianharvey:
good luck dude.
I used to read your journal over on another trading forum.
Everyone knows how practically everyone loses money daytrading and so when you were posting big positive days everyday last year everyone (including myself) just assumed you were full of it! not sure i can mention the site, but its a British one, and the Brits tend to be even more skeptical of someone claiming to be successful!
That's probably why you got no reponses on that particular forum on your journal!
However, openely admitting to your recent losses proves to me that you were not lying. I know that you'll turn the corner again soon and start killing it again.
Im new to trading and the more people I see who are able to consistently profit from daytrading, the more hope it gives me that the few who are successful aren't just the same 5% who you would find could make a living playing roulette due to the variance of luck.
