Hello Piggie,

sometimes I take huge pain but normally I am shorting at or very near the top up to that point in the day.

Yes I do scale in and out of trades. Yes a stock as a rule must be overbought (from my point of view) for me to get interested in it.

yes, I am a big believer in scaling in and out of trades with my style.

Its not the right method for all styles but there is more than one way to catch a mouse.

Tough day as I did not sleep well last night.

It was difficult to drag myself out of the bed and send myself to the office today. I also thought today might offer more than it did but for a nothing day I did ok. My biggest challenge today was probably staying awake.

NFLX fell out of bed and I guess it felt more tired than I did. With my naked 47.50 and 50 calls within sight of expiring it was a welcome sight. Once NFLX crossed below 46 I pulled my .05 bid for the 50s and decided to wait it out.

I did get a couple of trades today and for a nothing day it wasn’t bad

SYT DS, GU, + 448

Hi Robert, great blogg you got going. I noticed in alot of your post you mention b6, DS, H, and GU? What do all these abbreviations mean? GU, is gap up?.

Yes I use tradestation radar to scan. I have had a lot of issues with tradestation but if you want to scan that many stocks I can say that you can plan on spending a lot on the computer doing the scans.

I like tradestation and stockfinder. I also think that when ninja trader comes out with the new release NT7 it may blow the others away as NT6.5 is not bad.

I have been considering moving to Tradestation - seems to be the grandaddy of online brokers. Can you share some of the concerns you have with the product. My issue is the cost. I'm not a full time trader and there may be months where I do virtually no trading. I don't like paying $100/mo for doing nothing.

Thanks for saying so.

I am up over 70% so far this year but with a time weighted average over 100% as I withdrawal from the account on a regular basis. Its not something I keep track of on a less than year period so I am just guessing.

Started out as a good day

Came in this morning and just before the open I see that JAH is making a huge gap up in a very nice setup. while trading JAH I also get GPC at the open with a signal to trade.

Not really happy with my trading today. JAH offered me a nice gain and I let it go to get more. poorly traded all day. Other than JAH I thought it was a good day and my other trades were handled well. RYL and TIF refused to break down further before the bell so I am going to carry them into tomorrow with the thought that they will break within the first half of the day tomorrow.

Tomorrow is option experation day so things might get a little harry but I am looking forward to a good day. today was crazy as my radar screen lit up like a Christmas tree again. Makes me wonder if a shoe is going to drop and the dow drops 500+ points in a day…..

I had some of my bids hit in after hours trading.

I had both TIF and RYL traded in after hours trading. As of this post I am still short some of both but a much small amount. I am also still short JAH

Not sure if any of my current bids will get hit anymore today but this is probably the only update I will do.
