Weinstein Trading and Fading

Just to jump on the wagon.......
You are a trading hero of mine. I have read the 1R threads for over a year now. You are more my hero on your attitude and desire to learn from losses much more then when you are a big swinging dick in your personal account.
I believe you can make days like today seem trivial in the future.
short day today as I needed to go see the DR. If I was thinking I would have made my Appt for Monday. Oh well.
Today was NOT a record day but was close and I have nothing but happyness about this weeks trading. Well, I could be happier about LVS and GE but overall I will take it.
I did get one really nice signal and the rest was mostly scalping and fading gaps
COO H, 6b, first gave a H signal and then went on to the 6b about an hour later. Proper risk management really paid off as I avoided it until the setup was complete which allowed me to short near the top with a sale at 23.66. As it turned out I exited a little bit before the ideal time as I needed to go. + 1703

MFE + 1927
VIV + 48
WNR + 8

+ 20632 Week

Wow, so nice of you to say these things. Thanks for taking the time to do so.
Its interesting that you mention my losses as I did make some changes to my trading setups to try to avoid some of the bigger ones like my LEH trade.

There are two ways to say "Come Here" in Chinese:
1. 来这里 (LAI ZHE LI)
2. 到这来 (DAO ZHE LAI)
The 1st one is a little bit too formal, 2nd one is better for every day family use.
DAO (4th tone) = to
ZHE (4th tone) = here
LAI (2nd tone) = come, move
I know it is confusing: both "ZHE LI" and "ZHE" equals to "here".
You can definitely say: DAO ZHE LI LAI, there is nothing wrong with it.

While it was a gainful day it was very frustrating. Many computer problems during the day with my trading platform
Many many many computer problems today. I thought I took care of everything yesterday when I came into the office but I quickly found out that the issues would be still going.
GE, LVS, and USO where challenging today. All three of my longs went south today.
sold 2 USO APL20 puts for .95 I still feel that oil is bottoming out.
While I am waiting it out until Friday to see if I will have USO stock put to me I am willing to sell the GE calls for the stock that I expect to have put to me on Monday. This type of trading has played out several times in the last year or so. I also sold calls in what I expect to have in stock with LVS. The good news is that if any of these options get exercised at the expiration date I will be in the money. If they donââ¬â¢t my cost basis improved but it still means most likely that I am underwater.
sold 10 GE MAR 14 Calls for .17
sold 4 GE JUN 13 Calls for .92
sold 8 LVS mar 5 calls for .21
