Last day of short hours trading as I will be back in my office on Monday.

Turned into a pretty good day for only trading about two hours. Even Disney was not busy today so it was a good day all around. Even the week was better than should be expected as I am trading from a hotel room during the opening hours every day. I can’t say that I paid for my trip but I can say it was worth the effort to bring a mini trading setup.

Just scalped a bit before heading over to stand in line at Magic Kingdom

Thanks for the well wishes for the vacation. I think my boys enjoyed the trip very much. I even had my son say to me on our way back to the hotel "I am glad your my dad" so of course that something I will never forget.

(I almost went loooong DIS yesterday as a sympathy play for the lines in which you waited all week; but I was scared to jinx my success as a shortologist :D)
 
Just came back from standing in line at Disney. Lots of catching up to do so I am going to make today a little short.

Traded OSIP during after hours trading.

OSIP is now on my watch list for tomorrow as well.

total for OSIP for the day is now 544 from 20. Changes the totals for the day.

Thanks, I can't say I want to go back to Disney again. I would hate to go during the busy season. Might as well just shoot yourself. lol
 
Spent much of the day watching LVS and GE disappoint. LVS is at a dangerous level here. With about 40 mins left in trading its holding above $4 but really anything under $5 says its in trouble of going out of business.

Right now LVS is like a never ending option or LEAP. GE has been beaten down with the rest of the financials today and yesterday.

For today’s trading I had a good day. Most of of the gains today where with signals but I had a few that where also discretionary.

I did get a trade with my watchlist OSIP. + 233

COCO H, 6B, + 1638

MYGN desc, + 861

I also shorted MYGN FEB 90 calls at 1.55 that I would like to buy back at the end of the week or early next week.

APOL, I scalped and raised the average short price. Really moved up strong today. Holding most of the short today into tomorrow +3

I started out with problems again with Tradestation so I made some changes and plan on making more.

I added Ninja Trader software and using that for charting. Not as good yet as the Tradestation charting but I think it may be as good or better when I get the charts the way I want them.

One signal today and it was not bad. I may have given it more time to work out but the gains where acceptable for the risk.

FNF 6B, H, + 1181

ILMN , I provided liquidity for much of the day. + 435

I closed out APOL covered short. This trade has been on for about three weeks and worked out well. I might have been able to get more by holding but I still have the 105 Feb calls that are becoming near worthless. + 199 for the options and + 1323 for the stock.

In after hours trading I provided liquidity to CSCO after its earnings announcement. +120

I also traded V which had an earnings report. I made a couple of mistakes in my entry price and I ended up kicking in a stop loss to protect in case V really ran away from me. As of this post I am still short V and expect to be short at the start tomorrow. - 689

GE and LVS continue once again to slide. These are both losers at this point but the other holdings have gains. SQNM, PNC, MYGN

Today was a crazy day to say the least.

Today I had the highest amount of signals of the year. At one time I had no less than five trades going on at once. Some of them really moved against me for a while and it was not easy to handle the amount of trades and signals due to half my monitors being in ‘change over status’.

I am changing my charting computer with a new one that has two quad video cards so that hopefully my crashing problem goes away. So I worked as fast as I could to get Ninja trader charts up and running on as many monitors as I could. I have to say that I am liking the idea of using IB datafeed with ninja charting. This is meant to take a load off of the scanning computer running Tradestation.

So in the middle of a change over the market decideds its a good idea to have me trade a total of about 13 different stocks and mostly all at once. It was a very stressful filled day that I am glad to have made it out with my head still on straight.

I had a late start in the post today and I need to pick up my son today so the setups are missing in the post.
