My two carrys from yesterday turned out very differently. JEF turned a gain + 530
CNC on the other hand I tried to get a bit more than it was offering and it went against me. I faded the move and it ended up stuck in about a 15 cent range. Will be carrying overnight but its an open loss as of this post.
I did have a good trade today

ISRG + 314
ESI + 34
trying to scalp CNC i took a small loss due to the way IB calculated FIFO - 63 but this causes my ave price to go up so it will come out in the wash when I close the trade.
+1451 for the day
+ 9075 for the week
+ 30362 for the month

I do scale into and out of just about all my orders regardless of time frame. I am a very big believer in scaling in.
Scaling in IMHO lowers your risk and allows you change or get out at a much lower cost then going all in at once.

AM update.
CNC doesnt appear to have any volume of trading outside normal trading hours for the last couple of days.
I will be both looking to exit CNC but also if CNC moves higher on the open I will want to short more.
I will have an opening only short order to capture and opening higher print. My price will be in the 21.90 area

Mostly slow day. Watched CNC move back and forth and while I faded and bought back several times it didn't break yet. Volume totally dried up as it didnt even trade a million shares. Due to IB FIFO accounting CNC scalping took about 715 off my total today. Still very short and still feel good about it. It is very rare to see a stock move up after two S:6b days in a row.
Will be looking for CNC to break either Friday or early next week as I am in no hurry to get out.
