Weinstein Trading and Fading

Mostly a slow AM but the afternoon was ok

Traded both the 90 and 95 Aug SPWR calls today. Did well with both

Shorted the SPWR 90 Aug calls due to not having shares to short with IB + 1337

shorted the SPWR 95 aug calls around noon my time due to pricing being overbought. +650 (bought 4 of 18 back at .05)

Traded CNC again today. bought back most of my short. + 406

IB doesnt show a realized profit for the OTM options that I shorted today. Manually adding that back in

Thanks for saying so.

I could have bought all the shares back as there was some large asks but I think it has further to go to the downside.

Why would I buy back at the current price if i thought it was going lower?? simple, CNC was trading about 5K shares per 30 min bar today in volume. I thought I would take some off the table while I could with the large seller. Now I still have pretty good size 1600 shares give or take and I dont have to worry about being moving the market too much if it goes against me.
 
Closed out CNC. What a trip. Little bit sooner than I really wanted but I am up in the black hills deadwood on vacation with the family and thought it would be worth closing at a profit and not have it on my mind. I

I also only traded for about two hours today as a result of trips to the reptile gardens and a ride on the 1880 train. : o )

On the way home from the Black Hills today. Great trip. The whole family had a great time and we even were able to do some horseback riding.

Today is a short trading day and in fact I have already checked out of the hotel and using a sprint card to my laptop to post this update.

scalped UB again today but as expected volume is dropping pretty fast so was not able to get much traded +53

TSRA was another scalp that I let the profits run a bit. +440

Only trade today was ENER. traded it twice today. first at the hotel during AM and again while traveling (gotta love technology) (wife is driving) + 316

Just 'rode' into town and now home. After seeing many of the 'homes' from the homestead days of the late 1800s (more or less holes in the ground with bare floor and no running water or electricity) I am extra glad for what I have.

Was able to trade some while on the road with a sprint card and my laptop. No charts as i was having some problems but did trade QM. Faded the move up but while I wanted to hold for more, I put in an order to close because there was only about half an hour in pit trading left and didn't want to hold overnight. Not sure why not but it doesn't show up in the PnL so I am manually adding it back in (it does show in the trades though. IB really needs to improve its reporting) +163.50

Scalped UB again (gonna milk that for as much as I can but I think its about done) + 36.34

did get a signal for PLCE but due to computer issues I did not know what signal and at what price. I treated it with caution so the profit is about 20% of what it would normally be + 119

LTD is a scalp that I carried part over. + 126 and still short 5 that is slightly in the green


ENER was a great trade the whole way through.faded the first move up and held on for a larger than normal gain. + 1105
