That spread chart does not show the true spread on sunday nights futures prices. Had you sold the Nikkei on the open Sunday night when they were only down 1%, you would have caught the entire sunday night selloff. Nikkei dropped close to 20% over two days while the spoos came in about 3% to 4%.

I had no idea the Nikkei was going to drop 20% in 2 days. I thought it would be more of a slow bleed and it would under perform the s&p over the coming months. I didn't know the spread would blow out like that in 2 days. But that was the only time I mentioned the trade. Are you like 12 years old TJ? Because you act like a child.
