Wealthy Option Traders

Once again the negative people who havn't made alot of money. Go read some of the trading journals of people who turned a small amount of capital into alot through news and rumors of news. Earning reports etc......

One thing I have noticed about this Forum so far is its always the people who havn't made substantial gains and lose money that come in here and try to give advice. If you havn't been successful on the market your the last person I want to take advice from.

From what I read in the journals people bash people that are making money at first. Then when they keep making money they seem to shutup. Anyways I am not going to argue with anyone that hasn't been successful. From now If someone isn't a successful trader, I am not going to even respond to you. I only want my advice from successful people because I want to be successful. No point in listening to people that have been burned.

Look man you are embarrassing yourself by invoking "Wade fu78ing Cook". Realize that there is some luck involved in the markets. I got a 6,000 % return off a GOOG trade, does that make me a great trader or lucky. I realize you are young and your enthusiasm is a good thing; I would suggest you read thru some old threads. There are some "real" options traders on these boards, salty as hell but usually cause its the same old shit.

Hi I am a new retail trader with 10K when can I expect to retire?

gets old for serious traders. I would suggest you read thru old options posts, and see if you can find a mentor. A mentor would be someone who helps you learn to trade, not some scam guy who is charging you for a moving crossover system. Some option posters worth reading spindr, dmo, opt789, xflat2189, atticus, etc. Missing a few, but these guys actually trade. Good trading.

WC is now pressing out vanity license plates under Federal supervision. The problem is, he's stupid and can't spell. I don't think there's much of a market for WADE CROOK license plates.

In my opinion, selling options has much higher long term chance of success. This is based on a simple fact that options lose value every day, so putting time in your favor has a huge advantage...You won't make a home run, but you can make 5-7% per month with high probability of success and more consistently.

This is way oversimplified. There is no inherent advantage in writing/selling options. You take large risks for a fixed amount of money. And the idea of earning 5-7% of month overlook the high likelihood of occasional but sure blowouts along the way, defeating the purposes. And of course, there is your spreads, commissions, risk, errors, the value of your own time and other things that eat up this nice and cozy "5%-7% monthly."
