Inflation is just an increase in money supply... And Deflation is a decrease in money supply
Sky rocketing RE prices is a symptom of Inflation, not the cause. There is only so much Wage increase private owners can afford, Monetary Policy is broken... I hope Central Banks realize it is and pressure governments to look into Fiscal Policy, so rates can slowly reach back 3-4 % in Advanced Economies. ZIRP or NIRP aren't the answers

Inflation depends on how they count, whether they use substitution, the % of each category in counting, where I live, what I purchase, etc.

Look at Cummings........Baltimore received $1.6BN in aid from Obama, but it does not appear that much was done with the money. Cumming's wife is in charge of a non profit organization that profited from the aid. Perhaps that is how they could afford all that art in one of the most poverty stricken neighborhoods in the country.
The Clintons raised 50MN for Haiti and the money was never used for the intended purpose.
All, (not all, but many) of the poverty programs initiated by Congress are designed to aid the program directors and the congressional representatives. Not to benefit the ones that need it.
