We Need School Security - Not Gun Control

I am just so fucking sick of listening to these liberals. They want to tell everyone how to run their lives, but they want total license for themselves.
The argument seems to be that we should be willing to give up our rights if it would possibly save a few people's lives. But when are liberals willing to apply that same standard to anyone but groups they despise, like gun owners and Christians?

I don't think teachers should be required to carry, but someone in the school should have access to a weapon. Volunteer teachers should be trained and given permission to carry at school. What can it hurt? Kids might pay closer attention if they knew their teacher was packing.
Of course, the government will make it as onerous and ineffective as possible, like they did with airline pilots.
Do you actually expect a principal to perform like a trained cop? Cops go through hundreds of hours of training.
And for most only a fraction of it is firearms training. They're policemen not soldiers. Earlier this a year a "trained" officer "accidentally" discharged a revolver confiscated from a passenger IN the airport terminal.

Why should I have to dignify that post with a response? All I'll say is I'm not going to defend crazy people on either side of the issue. I represent my own thoughts and only my thoughts.
Body armor stops bullets. You also happen to get knocked on your ass in the process. Within 20 yards, it's not difficult to hit a torso with a handgun. With multiple shots, that kid would have been slammed against the wall. Don't think one teacher, with one gun. Think 7 or 8 teachers with guns, running to the scene.
As far the Empire State shooting, cops open fired on a crowded street with pedestrian background. What would you prefer? We let these little psychos empty their clip on a group of kids, while we wait 20 minutes for the cops to show up?
This is the whole point, man. Liberals think there is some perfect outcome, "if only" we pretend reality doesn't exist. Well, I'm very sorry, friend. But reality exists. Psychopaths exist. And you can write all the laws you want, but the blackmarket exists, too. So those criminals will find those weapons whether you "ban" them or not, and they will shoot your ass up, if you're at the wrong place, at the wrong time. The question is: what do we do about it? Do we sit and cower under our desk and wait for the cops to show up and strut around outside, fixing their jock strap? Or do we train some willing teachers in every school how to use a firearm (easy shit), and put a locked safe in a few classrooms, and open fire on these bitches when they go on a rampage?
There is no "perfect world". There is very little you, or any Liberal can do, once a person has decided to hurt and/or murder other people. All we can do once that choice has been made, is to stop them WITH FORCE. Violence, when used in self-defense, is a good thing. Self-defense is a GOOD thing.
