We must spread our sweet freedoms to them:


- 30% credit card interest
- 'Bailouts' to the zionist bankers
- Monstanto GM crops with traditional famers farmers forced off their land
- gay marriage
- abortion
- a Starbucks on every corner
- illegal drugs
- paying 20-30% of income for basic heath care
- Green Taxes
- Seizing their oil industries
- Obesity
- Unaudited Electronic Voting Machines
- Supreme Courts deciding elections.

Anything else of our day-to-day lives they would enjoy?


Freedom? Go ahead and write a letter to the Editor. Nothing wil happen or change. The only voices that count are the lobbyists for the oil, pharma, weapons industries. Anything else is a non-issue.
 
Great thread TT2! If I may add my own two cents;

1- Ahmadi Najad is loved by the majority of the Iranian people and hated by the bourgeois class.
2- He is loved by the majority of Iranian for the following reasons;
- He is for the poor and middle income (raised public employs salaries three times during his administration
- He live a modest life (still resides in the same modest house and is well known to go to personally go to remote villages, asses their needs and satisfy them
- He is corruption free, unlike many of the other Leaders, including Rafsenjani.
3- the majority of the demonstration happened in Tehran and in some of the most affluent neighbourhoods
4- The amount of lies spread around the events that took place after the elections are astronomical. From the claim that the interior ministry blocked the opposition delegates from observing the count to the death of thousands of civilians in Baharstan to the massive demonstrations outside the city of Tehran shows the level of conniveness of the opposition and makes you wonder who is really behind them and aiding them in their fraudulent campaign to de-legitimize the result of the elections
5- We are now finding out that only one opposition leader filed an objection, only to pull it two day later and declare that there aren't any substantial evidence to back his allegations. Mousavi filed an objection through a low level government employee which was rejected due to the fact that he did not use proper channels. so far, no proper objection was filed by Mr. Mousavi.
6- The interior ministry is extending the period for filing an objection by one day, so far, no filing has been made
7- The interior ministry offered to pull random ballot boxes in the areas where Ahmadi Najad won and investigate them under tyhe supervision of opposition delegates. That offer was flatly rejected by the opposition
8- the polls prior to the election gave Ahmadi Najad the same winning margin as the elections
9- Ahmadi Najad won the last elections against the same corrupt so called "reformist"
10- the de-legitimizing and dehumanizing campaigns carried by the west and its media shares a huge resemblance to the campaign carried in Lebanon by people who serve similar agenda to that of Mousavi
11- The tactics carried by Mousavi and his people shares a huge resemblance to the ones carried by the "March 14" American servants in Lebanon and
12- Had Ahgmadi Najad been a servant for the west like the "March 14" gang in Lebanon, this thread would've not been made

Atheism and the ability to say "dont push your religion on me" And also freethinking hypocracy. Saying to the people "Stop letting people tell you what to believe and free your mind" (Which is just another way to say "believe in nothing like me!")

Israeli President Shimon Peres applauded Iran's pro-reform protesters in remarks Sunday. In that same weekend, Israeli forces dispersed a peaceful Palestinian march in the West Bank city of Hebron, attacking the protesters with batons and rifle butts, and wounding three protesters.

Peres says, let the young people in Iran "raise their voice for freedom." Meanwhile, Israel has been denying freedom to Palestinians for more than 40 years, maintaining a brutal occupation and oppression in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. This past week, 40 United Nations and international humanitarian agencies called on Israel to end its Gaza blockade, to no avail.

Finally, a new report by Defence for Children International details how Israeli security forces routinely beat and torture Palestinian children in the West Bank. Before Peres criticizes the behavior of other countries, he should speak out against the many Israeli violations of basic human rights of the Palestinians

and yet muslim keep immigrating to the west, makes one wonder why anyone would want to leave such paradises like Iran.

It's obvious that you TT are a muslim living in the west. Nothing more obnoxiuos than rude guests.
