Well that depends on what happens between now and Christmas, if the Dow breaks then have a 13,000 conclusion. But that's an if, money is made in the intermediate levels on those types of move, the actual move itself acts as a benchmark.

It all comes down to the timeframe, if you're looking at weekly charts a new high is not necessarily relevant, if you're trading 5mn then those moves will destroy your account. It's not complicated.
 
No worries ...they have the futures jammed higher for Thanksgiving day and anticipation of black Friday the markets are already handing out risk free money to all...dont forget to get your free money this holiday season. Buy any stock and make risk free money all holiday long.....why rush out any buy TVs clothes and couches you already have when you can stay home and buy stocks and make unbelievable risk free returns day after day...you don't even have to work anymore...markets are going to guarantee you a return of at least 3% a month in 2017....so after you are done eating your big Thanksgiving meal be sure to make a list of stocks to buy early Friday morning...you will make tons and tons of free money right into Xmas..., forget about black Friday sales on stocks, that's not happening...once you buy you are guaranteed to make money every time all the time.... the only black Friday sale you'll miss is not buying stocks this holiday season....

The VIX is barely moving down.....XIV hasn't gone anywhere as the market is making new highs day after day....VIX should be dropping faster and harder as the Dow makes new highs but it's not doing much which might say people are finally buying protection in case of a small .18% pullback!!!!
 
Ive been shorting the QQQs, increasing my positions in GLD and NG. The stop for the QQQs is 120.0. Wish me luck!

Yeah, I guess Im not aggressive as you daredevils with futures and options trades. I will leave that for the more cultured and intellectual bunch of traders. Im just a rough arm wrestling type of dude whereas you guys are the more kinder gentler variety.

I don't do option plays, but IMO your short will be shortlived, u'll probably get stopped out this coming week.
