Not so much actual wrong but the over hyping and 24 hour coverage of Corona. Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon etc are not reporting news they are going into long harangues on Trump, GOP governors, and Red states as though this was a GOP problem and they caused the problems we are having. They are providing 3 - 4 hours of useless commentary that is not helping the situation. So I see them no different than FOX.

Choosing not to report on something and ignore it is not out right getting something wrong but it is coloring the reporting. Pelosi, Biden and Sanders were so quick to criticize anything Trump as racist that they basically were against any restrictions on travellers from Corona infected areas and even were telling people in February to go out in groups and not to be worried. Same thing Trump was telling people and got ripped for it for hours but not a peep on the Dem party leaders.


House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was out in San Francisco's Chinatown in late February encouraging people to go out in public and spend money at local businesses despite concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus.

What FOX does often in those hours is what CNN does spending hours and hours showing the world is coming to an end and it is all GOP's fault. I did not see Nancy or Biden out there asking for things early on and Sander's who said no borders should be closed all but disappeared but he wants to be President.

Andrew Cuomo gets how many hours a day on CNN...my God the man can talk.. The minute any Governor gets into a spat with Trump they are immediately on CNN and someone who receives help from the Federal government is buried because it does not fit the narrative.

THe other night Lemonhead spent 20 minutes on a harangue about something trump said that day earlier and then brought in 3 separate experts to debate what he said for the next 2 segments. In the end it got about 20 minutes of wasted time on nothing.

Also I am noticing that when FOX cut away from Trump daily briefing when he started to bumble CNN has started to cut away at times as well to insert their own story.

I acknowledge that when CNN grabs a bone it doesn't let go until there's no meat left on it. And there are opinions thrown about. But they are clearly opinions, and not presented as fact, to the best of my knowledge. And what you may regard as biased reporting is perhaps the sounding of much needed alarms. There is much blame to place on the Trump administration. And on some GOP governors who still don't seem to get it.

Do you watch the coronavirus press briefing with the president? The man is a fucking fool. He lies, misdirects and exaggerates. And then he lies about his lies. How does a properly functioning news organization NOT report on that?

And please don't compare CNN with FOX Pravda. Not even close.

Trump is a tool is like saying the sky is blue. I don't need to worry about CNN calling out all his fucktardedness. But once reported let's get some other news in there....why does Don and Chris need to follow Andersen with the same points and commentary?

I hear crickets though when a Dem needs to be criticized or Dem governor.

Some do but home vegetable gardens are not very common, there are often urban greening projects as you find in London etc. People underestimate how developed Colombia is as at best they see it via Escobar stuff 80s/90s.

I have ten hectares in my finca, country cottage and I'm going full in with veg and just before all this got some grape vines in from my place in California. But all average Colombians are happy to survive on arepa and cheese, only the very youngest have lived in a world of luxury so they don't mind simple food. That said, supermarkets are full, deliveries are working, farms are working.

Issue is other industries want to restart and like Trumps guys, the bosses don't actually care who dies though they can afford to stay closed longer. The current talk of an intelligent restart will kill many. Many here grasp a covid19 death, alone with nobody visiting is not acceptable.
Fingers crossed we just stay locked down until the testing is up to speed. It has barely existed and then the main lab's machine broke.. If the new rapid, decentralised kits can be made here or sourced from Europe so the US can't hijack the shipments Colombia will survive well considering its nuts are in the vice because of Russia and Saudi oil fighting.

Here the universities are trying to make ventilators as they knew the US would out bid them and outright steal orders so never expected to get more from abroad anyway.
