Their projections are not panning out so they have to resort to damage control and change the narrative, saying that deaths in Jan and Feb might be covid related. Oh really? My argument is the whole premise is bullshit. Deaths are not understated, if anything overstated. We can't even acurrately count flu deaths. It's all based on projections. Media saying deaths in jan or feb might have been covid related is just conjecture. Fear mongering, nothing else. What is the point of this article?

i dont think it is a con, I think the media just has no understanding of anything and prints/publishes first and then don't verify second.

There is such stupidity in the CNN/FOX approach to get it out faster and if wrong simply change it the next day....

They are not concerned with what they say, just that more people are tuned in to whatever they are saying.

Deaths are the only statistic you can quantify with certainty. That is why the death rates as a percentage of infections matter. Extreme liberals and ET trolls continue to talk about the US having the most infections but, also, implies more US citizens have survived the US Corona Virus. More Europeans have died of the Corona Virus and at higher death rates but, ignore that simple fact. There are probably, more people asymptomatic but, that just means the death rates are actually, lower than reported. Majority of people infected will survive. Only a small percentage will not survive. Nobody talks about those who recover and now immune to the Corona Virus. They can no longer infect anyone nor be infected ever again.
