We are the 1%; We stand with the 99%

Quote from S2007S:

Exactly, $1 million sounds like a lot, but in reality its not enough to sit back on and retire with......

Even so, accumulating $1 is still difficult. Not enough people have a high enough income. Most of those who do, don't want to live far enough below their means to accumulate that kind of money. RE isn't making anyone rich.. neither are the financial markets.

I think y'all are "assuming facts not in evidence"...

Quote from Mercor:

Why do these people feel more money to the Government is the best way to help the 99%.

Bingo. Let's take money away from the rich and give to the government? Taking money away from anyone and giving it to the government is a BAD idea.

$1 = $1 Million, of course.

Quote from kxvid:

Wealth redistribution isn't about voluntary sending in a check to the IRS if you feel too rich, but forcefully getting others in your position to do the same. The signs should read "tax me and others like me more".

If the government had a better track record of spending public money I think these signs of the "1%" would be reasonable. Look at a country like France or Denmark, they get alot of public benefits for their tax dollars. In the US all the majority of the public money goes to guns and government contractors with nothing nil left over for butter.

This is true wealth distribution. The top 1% distributed themselves money at the expense of the poorest 20%.
