How do you know that the father of lies is not deceiving humanity which in particular is religion including christianity.
What makes you so sure that it's not you deceived? Maybe think about it, could the mass of sheep in churches are being led astray?
Blindly following a doctrine preached from the pulpit.
Think carefully, it has all the ingredients; mass of people, obedience to doctrine, 'faith' (unquestioning of beliefs), paying money obediently, cultism, appearance - gotta wear smart clothes to church, type of uniform, emotionalism, music to addle the brain, ....I could go on....rites...... conformity.......

My experience, the more sure one is they are right, the more dangerous the ground they stand on.

And thats probably where christianity is unbelievable.
God will condem to hell for eternity a man who has lived for 70 years on earth who decided not to agree with someone's doctrine.
They decided not to conform to someone elses beliefs, so for eternity their reward is pain.
Mankind didnt decide to be born, they had no choice in the matter, and due to their opinion it's into hell........"God so loved the world".....

We are to question. I question everything. BUT questioning to ascertain certainty and truth is NOT the same as rejecting truth. There is a lot of truth in the Bible. There are a lot of prophesies that were fulfilled that testify that the Bible is telling the truth.

God will condemn each person based on their behavior. Every evil thought or deed will be judged with pure and righteous judgment. Judgment without mercy is completely terrifying. God has mercifully pleaded with us to be reconciled, and gave up His Son on our behalf, so that anyone who would turn to Him for reconciliation through Jesus, would not come under eternal Judgment. God is a just Judge, but He is also merciful. There is a time limit to His mercy, however.
