An astute observation because effectively, beyond a point, one dollar does indirectly equal one vote and arguably in some cases more than one vote. Citizens United facilitated that. But I sometimes forget that it works the same way on both sides of the political spectrum, though at times the sides seem to play by different rules. Or perhaps it is one side playing by the rules and the other ignoring them.

Building a indoor shooting range? Or how about a MAGA reeducation facility? Grin. Or does the dog fighter need to be told thrice!

Thinking about getting out of trucking, but rates are damn good right now. Not sure how long my truck will last before the engine goes kaputski, but definately will not invest in another rig. The emission controls and anti-backyard mechanic engineering of newer trucks makes owning a rig unviable except during narrow windows of prosperity for the industry. Bush initially was against the new diesel truck emissions requirements put forth by CARB (California Air Resources Board), until he heard fuel mileage dropped by 15% or so. Lovely system we have. There is more to complain about on this subject, but it is more than enough for one day.

As far as second careers, hello financial services. I have more than sufficient savings to make the transition at least.

I'm aiming for small bed cinema with three to four levels, built on a natural slope. The beds are doing the heavy lifting for sound conditioning but I need roof panels.

But now you mention it during the week I could run an assisted suicide facility for Trumpers.

I lived in a highly insulated trailer half buried in the desert in Namibia for a fortnight. 42C in the shade most days, not quite Death Valley's new record the last week but hot enough.

Good times, the desert silence combined with the trailer was a real head spinner. Had there been anyone to see I broke a world record for shooting distance camped there.
