This CNN is somehow as poor a news source as say Fox is tiring I must say. CNN was always the airport lounge news around the world station, back in the 90s it was often the only hotel TV channel in English. Its international news is huge Fox is domestic noise only and has almost no active journalists, opinion bullshit is cheaper.

Don't watch it much but its always seemed fine for news. If the argument is that Fox forced CNN to take a different corner, that is Fox ruining everything.

I know someone who used to work for Ted Turner managing his massive land holdings and he held him in good regard (bit of a narcissist but he was not totally overboard).

Nobody likes team Fox senior management. Rogers death.. It seemed fishy and nobody cared a lot like Epstein. Well people care less about Ailes

Fox is mostly not carried overseas. In some countries, Sweden for example, Fox streams are blocked. The news the world gets about the USA comes from CNN, AP and Reuters.

Fox has had a few actual journalists in the past that I could watch. Brit Hume, Katherine Herridge before she went to CBS etc.
