That was a joke. As for your thread, you can't compare an active President who has skin in the game to a candidate who doesn't. Biden is heavily incentivized to push for a long shutdown:
  1. He can claim he's on the side of saving lives and being extra careful
  2. If there's a recession, it will start in Trump's administration and he'll blame him for it
If Biden were in office and had to bear the responsibility for GDP, unemployment, etc. data--and the implications of longer shutdown than may be necessary--it would be very different.

For those who can't think critically, this appears to be a win-win for Biden because he can either blame Trump for opening up the economy too soon (risking people's health) or an extended economic slump if we do stay shut down too long. Unfortunately, many people are lazy, dumb and brainwashed enough to buy into this.

First, Trump is not my hero. Second, in my opinion, Baiden as president - worse choice.
Do they have better candidate, probably they do. However we have what we have. If you have to make a choice make decision which is appropriate. I respect your opinion.
