I have never liked Bill Maher at all. Now I know why. He is just plain stupid.

I would like to see Mr. Brady slap his head silly. Bill Maher deserves it.

I never understood Bill Maher's popularity.

Jon Stewart is genuinely clever and funny. I can see why he's successful. Maher is just crass and perpetually angry. What's funny about that?

The original topic was Bill Maher, a professional satirist/comedian, not the amateurs on ET.

That said, I agree with you that there's plenty of "crass and angry" on both sides, professionals and amateurs alike.

I'd like to see both sides turn down the "angry" volume.
