Brandon, I saw a USA and Canada blog about MRSA. A girl had MRSA and she said she was getting that again and again, like you. She said she found help at Sinai Hospitol of Baltimore Maryland with Dr. Michael Mont and Dr. Ronald Delenois.
I am just telling you what I read, but do not know this doctor.
I will try to find that blog and give you the link. I wrote their name when I saw that blog to tell you.

I'm not exactly sure what my options are here, if anyone has some ideas please let me know.
As I've pointed out several times before when I was diagnosed with cancer and then the various treatments I had after that, I ran out of insurance. Thus, I'm uninsured. I've also been too stupid to apply for SSI, so I'm really really uninsured.
In any event, I paid the hospital $8000 on Monday for the treatments Ive had thus far. At this point they are wanting to release me since I can not continue to pay. They want to send me to Broadlawns Hospital, which is the county hospital. It's better then nothing, but I know, for example, that an uninsured patient in a county hospital is seven times more likely to have a limb amputated then someone not in that situation. I'd like to avoid going to Broadlawns if at all possible, but Im not sure what type of stuff I'd need to do or say.
Also, I had a bone marrow biospy earlier today and have been puking my guts out ever since. They don't seem too terribly worried about it, but just wondered if anyone else has a similar experience.
Overall, aside from the above, I really am feeling better. Yesterday I only used my pain pump 7 times all day and so today we have been able to take me off it and have me on pills. It still hurts, but not nearly as bad as it had. Im not feeling "sick" anymore, aside from the puking and anemia, which is also a big improvement. I might take a few pictures of the wound later to show you how it is progressing. The surgeon told me that it's healing is at the point he'd hope for in a 10 to 12 days, not 6...so that's a good thing as well I think.
I apologize for only having the one video up so far. My hemoglobal earlier today was 6.7, so I spend the majority of my time right now sleeping and sucking on blood.
Thanks again to everyone here for taking me into your hearts and prayers. It's been very warming, and I will never be able to thank you guys enough.

If I was in charge people wouldn't have to worry about money issues when they need health care. Nearly 2 trillion to bail out scumbags and we can't take care of our sick properly, damned disgrace. Keep fighting Brandon, just think of all the hot chicks that you ain't appletreed yet.

Different things you can consider;
Rule of thumb for State & Fed 'insurance' - once you've used up all your money you qualify. If that's the case use it, you've paid for it your entire life. They may take into account the value of your car as well, not sure if a house is exempt or not.
Elderly folks will often go to a lawyer and have their assets transfered so they can qualify for Medicare. Seems to work, check out an Elder Law firm.
The hospital where you're at now should have some type of insurance specialist you could talk to, they should know about most any types of plans available to you and possibly donated services. Usually, they can collect the entire amount of your bill from the State by getting you qualified for your hospital stay only.
Find out if the hospital you're at has a 'teaching hospital'. Could be in the same complex or possibly another name or building, they may take you on.
If you're able to be up and around you could always walk into the ER of a better hospital. There may a few who will refuse you, or send you to County - some will be worried about lawsuits if they send you away and something was to happen.
Suggestions are nothing 'glamorous', but, whatever works. Good luck.

I'll be here now for another couple of days at least, probably a week.
I was talking to the surgeon this morning and he said the concern they have is that I'm healing very well and that the hospital has a lot of infections that I'd be in danger of getting. I had the surgery Thursday evening/Friday Morning, so about 7 days ago, but they said that my healing is where they would expect me to be about 2 weeks or so, which is good.
The issue with the payment has, I suspect, more to do with this summer then right now. I'm paying for everything right now, but this summer I ran up a bill of over $400,000 and I've not been able to pay all of that and have been making payments
Also should clarify if I did not earlier that the black card is not mine, it's a business partner of mine's who has given his card to secure my treatment here.
I used to have one, but they are very expensive and you really don't get too much out of having them aside from being able to say "I have a black card".
At this point I doubt they would give me a new one.
In any event I'm feeling better today aside from my back hurting a bit from the bone marrow biopsy. I've gotten off the PCA pump, mostly just having to take pain meds now about 20 minutes before we change my packaging.
