Watch in Realtime as I make $10k, or possibly (literally) DIE TRYING

Quote from Brandonf:

Yeah I'm reading it. I heard something a year or two ago, just browsing TV or whatever, and they talked about using it on diabetics and that it saved a lot of them from losing feet and whatnot.

Not just diabetics now. They do this for MRSA, and if the drug you use now does not work, push your doctor about this therapy, and phage therapy. That is what buylow/sellhigh is telling you...push your doctor.

Yeah in my video I show ya my entire setup.
They have me on hydromorphone PCA for pain, and then on something called vancomycin for my antibiotic. It's close to $2k per bag.

They did end up finally getting me out of the small local hospital I have been being treated at and they flew me down to Des Moines, to Mercy. So far I'm pretty happy here. One of my very best buds from HS, a guy I still talk too pretty often, was the chief resident in the ER here till last year, (There is seriously no such thing as HIPA) and once i'd asked a few people if they knew Jeff and then by now it's gotten back to them that Jeff and I are good friends etc they are really taking good care of me, almost like I'm a friend by proxy in a way. It's totally different then the situation I had in Ames. It probably also helps though quit honestly that my financial situation is not as terrible right now too as it was when I was in Ames this summer. I was able to give them and Amex Black Card, so they are not worried about getting paid. (I just gotta worry about how to pay it back)

Anyway one thing to have come out of this, at least for me, is to realize what an honestly good place ET really is. You know a lot of people complain and snipe about it, but I have had such an amazing outpouring of love and caring from people I do not even know, it's just been amazing.

PS..here is a snap shot of my hip from the video that is loading. Please be warned that it's very graphic.

Wow, man.

You are getting good care, and Vncomycin is the antibiotic of choice for MRSA.

However, please ask your physicians if an overlay of Zyvox and Cubicin can be utilized now, or separately, in case the Vancomycin doesn't knock out the MRSA.

Here's a reference for your treating doc (hopefully, he's an infectious disease specialist and is humble enough to listen):

http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/activity-against-mrsa-is-the,607094.shtml

"The new report entitled Hospital Anti-Infectives Insight Series: Skin & Skin Structure Infections also finds that surveyed physicians state that the success of Pfizer's Zyvox and Cubist Pharmaceuticals' Cubicin is driven strongly by these agents' excellent activity against MRSA. Vancomycin remains the most commonly prescribed agent for empiric coverage of MRSA, and its use is largely driven by familiarity and local hospital guidelines. In contrast, surveyed physicians indicate that use of Zyvox and Cubicin is driven by product attributes, namely their excellent activity against MRSA activity."

Post an update each day. I know an infectious disease specialist in Michigan who happens to be one the best anywhere, through my cousin's husband, who is a physician.

I'm sending out some genuine prayers for you, and if you need me to, I'll contact that doc I mentioned in a heart beat; just say the word.

You are NOT going to die. Drink a ton of water man (I know they have you on an IV drip), but still.

Thank you so much.
I will bring up the antibiotics in the morning. I'll also let you know if I need anything extra, and thank you again for the offer.

I'm gonna try to get some sleep, in the morning I have a bone marrow biospy and I'm not sure how long it will take me to recover from it. Once that's all over though I'll start updating videos and whatnot as i progress forward with my project.

Sounds like you almost got Necrotizing fasciitis, also know as flesh-eating disease.

In this particular case I have strep and MRSA both, both of which can case flesh eating disease, but I did not in fact have necrotizing fasciitis. This summer, in June, I did and was in the hospital from June 22nd until August 14th.

Strangly I was actually more ill from this on Friday night then I was from the flesh eating strep, but I caught that fairly early..with in a couple of hours.

In this particular case the doctors here say that the doctors in Ames let me go without the area ever healing up entirely, that I have basically had some level of infection going since June that never went away, and over the last few days it exploded on me.

I sore when I woke up on Weds and so I called my doctor. She said she was too busy to see me, but given my history she called in an antibiotic and told me to come in to see her Friday. Thursday it was getting very sore, and by 6pm Thursday I was very sick and so I called to have my dad bring me to ER.

He brought me to the hospital in Nevada, knowing they would go ahead and bring me to Des Moines, but that it would actually be faster to just go ahead and go to Neveda then have them bring me to Des Moines then it would be for us to go to Des Moines and wait in the waiting room for six hours.

Anyway, he brought me and they started to treat me and I started to crash very badly. I had a heart attack and was flown from Neveda to Des Moines Mercy Hospital.

They did the surgery on me at around 1am Thursday night/Friday morning.

I've been very anemic, have had blood transfussions each day I have been here. They are going to do a bone marrow biopsy this week (I'm trying to find a place to hide, but my room is very small unfortunatly) and some other tests for infectious disease to try to find out why this will not go away. Obviously having had cancer probably makes my immune system weaker then that of the average person, but they don't think it explains all of the probelms I have had.

I'm almost starting to wish I was an IV drug user, because at least in that case we would know why I keep getting the damn thing and would have something to tell me to stop doing, but alas nothing can be simple.

A bunch of people have called and talked to me and it's been great. It's kinda boring up here (but don't call after 9pm, coz im a bum :) ) It's been great to see how many people do have genuine concern and empathy for my situation. So thank you all again.

I'm going to make a couple of videos this evening, just some very basic stuff of getting the site setup etc.

you don't know me, i don't know you, but i wish you well.

my advice from being an advocate for my very sick sister is that YOU need to be proactive in your care- everything from asking questions about different drugs, to, if needbe, moving to another hospital which has more expertise with a situation such as yours. doctors/hospitals are not one to admit that something is a bit out of their league- even when it is.

just remember, it's your life and your future at stake. don't worry about pissing people off if there is reason to question your treatment. doctors aren't created equal any more than traders. you're obviously a smart guy and i'm not exactly breaking news with this post. just wanted to share my opinions based upon watching doctors who were in over their heads stumble along for 10 years until my sister finally got to a specialist who correctly diagnosed her (unfortunately too late to undo the damage that the disease has inflicted on her).

if it were me, i'd be making sure i've got the "A" team working on me...

good luck.
