I've been in Chicago for the past 3 days and the number of people I've met who've said, "I use to trade on the _____ floor" is pretty staggering. A lot of them now have help desk positions or some other similar role at various brokerages.

"FLOORED" is a great documentary, basically those who adapted and the dinosaurs...

I thought so too. Professional traders that can't make money any more? Only thing that I can think of is they were so lazy that they simply followed the traders who were winners and these people converted.
