Was I right (lower btc in sight)?

Unfortunately, you did not enter the trade.

You didn't show
- your entry price
- your entry date/time
- your STOP

Hence you did not earn a single cent even if you were right.

Please try again but make sure you show the above info.

Just a week ago all that hyped news sent it straight to 70k and everyone was looking for 75k 80k and even that 100k....then ooops the fairytale coin fell .....looks like everyone is fleeing fairytale coins and the extremely overbought equities. ...wonder what the investors will turn to now that these are both out of favor.........

You are fooling nobody.

You were bearish at the lows and sold the bottom then got bullish at the top and longed the top!

Not true.

I do derivative scalp trading, from time to time;
posted a pic of trades I had in one of the threads:

btc scalp.PNG

why not?
I was able to short (short term) & make profit, as well as go long few times.

But in general, I searched for a nice entry point at 57k, found it, made some profit,
but exited before July 13th.

Well yeah, that the failed Trump assassination would happen, and that btc would pump up from that on, is something I haven't foreseen.

Btc pumped up, lost stanima, went down... now up again (because of newest numbers of btc acquisitions by BlackRock?)

Atm, I am not trading btc derivatives, as I have no time for it
just hold some (low amount) btc for long term...

With the chart in this thread you can clearly see the lower highs.

So, if btc breaks through to the upside, it will have to break out of this falling wedge.

Personally, I bet 5:1 that it will break to the upside,-
as it should be, historically.

If it does not happen, that will also be historical.

However, you need to see:
A break to the upside can come in 2 months...
What can happen until then?

Going in with leverage is a dangerous hobby, in such a situation...

One of the trades brought me +50% on my balance, as I managed to get in at 54k.

Furthermore, I hold btc since more than a year; without trading.

But... what are your trades?
As you ask me, and I've shown it in the chart,
would you now share yours as well...?

Just, I want to remind you what you wrote, 2 weeks ago, for ex.:

Not aging well

So...
where is the apology? lol

How is scalping relevant to this? Clearly your calls on Bitcoin are not calls on micro price movements in Bitcoin for scalping.

There really needs to be a thread dedicated to actual trades in Bitcoin, posted in real-time. Entry price, position size, entry time, and then the corresponding details on exit.

say what you want about wallstreetbets, but at least they actual post all the trade execution details on their YOLO

Those Yolo threads I tend to navigate with a little bit of skepticism, today anyone can mock up a robinhood graph showing anything they want. So how believable these are is certainly questionable......

There are a few in the Journal part of E.T. Unfortunately, the majority of those threads end up not getting updated, and practically abandoned.

I generally take that as a sign that things maybe didn't turn out so well. :banghead:
