It is very unusual for Warren Buffett to sell stock. I do not know of a prior instance when Mr. Buffett sold stock.

Warren Buffett didn't sell anything, berkshire did, read the article. There are numerous shareholders in berkshire that invest in stocks without Buffett's knowledge or blessing... especially when it comes to reinsurance float.
