Warnings After The Close??????? 10-01-07

As long as the market continues to go up, everyone will "feel" better off (aka dot com.) Nobody gives 2 shits about inflation. Just would hate to think if the market suddenly reversed. Wealth effect is a double-edged sword.
 
Any bull should know that these market conditions cant last forever, that eventually the bear does take over wallstreet and indexes do fall.

Everyone is just too bullish, remember markets are up over 100% in the last 4.5 years.
 
Yep something is brewing, now just what else could these banks be hiding? I mean we all trust banks, right. The other shoe to drop. Not hearing much on ratings as of late. Who gets scared and starts telling first. We shall see.

If warnings, hedge fund collapses, inflation, high oil, housing collapses, slowdown in consumer spending and everything else that is negative isnt bring down stocks, what will??
 
I have to admit I know nothing about equities but do watch them as they impact other markets.

However I do think the markets are mad at the moment - equities new highs, carry trades flying - it is like risk is back in town and nothing has happened.

The Fed cut, the ECB delayed or cancelled their hike, all for good reason. There are serious problems out there.
