Given the fact that multiple felonies are in play here from cyber security/hacking to posession of child pornography to distribution of child pornography (all across state lines), I think that nobody should be speaking about this. This thread should be shut down. It's not anyone's place to defend or acuse this guy.
A lot of people in this forum are potential witnesses here. A lot of you who were exposed to the images might have to testify in the future. I don't think it's a good idea to be talking about this in a public forum.
I also think that Baron shouldn't be posting more information about any communications or evidence he has uncovered. He's done good work, but until the FBI or other authorities resolve it, he should probably just be dealing with them.
If Baron is talking to lawyers now (and if I were in any case implicated with child pornography I would be), he should verify with them if this is a good idea to keep this thread running.
Though I like gossip and this is juicy, it's much more serious than who Kim Kardashian banged or what happend to the MF money. and a lot of people here are very close to the issue as victims.
If he's innocent then hopefully his reputation for life will not be ruined. If he's guilty than he should go to jail for many years and be required to register as a sex offender.

Anyone who is exposed to thse images should also file claims and through PM perhaps Baron can communicate to those individuals whom he is working with (to keep all the information together).

I hate like hell being in the middle of this but it should be noted that there are 2 different email addresses. The 007 email morganist refers to is a gmail account. 007 also emailed me yesterday and I didn't post it or refer to it because it wasn't consistent (IMO) with the ericross email I posted yesterday. Someone wanting to build a paper trail could have sent morganist the previous 007 emails about economics. My question is why would Eric Ross choose to send morganist an email as 007 instead of a pm as EMR?

Baron, again I would like to request that we hear what EMR has to say in open forum. Anything he says can be used against him, so it's up to him.

I cannot. He sent me an email over a year ago with "007" in the address. That's how I knew his general location, name, etc., purely from memory. That is why I requested a timeline from Morganist on the "econ" emails. It's very damning.

Morganist, The 007 email is from him. The Elite Trader Support Email was from me, if you look at the email from me, notice I removed the link (which included the spam) to the website and at the top said Do Not Open!!! To warn everyone that received the email, since he CC'ed everyone.
In reference to those wondering why he went after me. If you noticed in his spam postings he had mentioned along the lines of that I (Joe) do not allow free speech etc... I had sent him a PM a few weeks back before the SPAM started that said he was no longer welcome to post in a particular thread because the thread starter felt that his temperament was derailing the thread. He went off and accused me of a few items, and of course I did not respond. Ignoring him only aggravated him more, and well... some people punch a wall, and others seek a more destructive ways to obtain revenge.

I just spoke to the San Antonio police department and they said that anybody who was exposed to this guy's child porn activities should file a complaint with their local police first, (many police departments allow you to file online) and the local police will forward it to the San Antonio police department for investigation.

He is right - he could be dumb and had downloaded illegal music, movies, software, etc. and have pretty nasty virus or keylogger.
Its entirely possible - although very unlikely, entirely possible. Usually people who are dumb enough to click on that stuff are also dumb enough not to realize the extra processes running in the background.
That said, if he's been set up or hacked or whatever its VERY easy for him to make a phone call to his ISP and request a few logs. The ISP's will even send certified copies to law enforcement and/or vendors if someone is using him as a proxy or if someone else is sending from his machine. This stuff is very easy to find, document and record/certify.
A hard-reset on his router + STRONG passwords and a decent OS format + clean install will resolve this 100%...
Or he's a scumbag.
Are forum admins confident that he's done this? or that it is at least coming from the same IP address & MAC?
I have a little bit of experience with this (i host quite a bit and rent out VMs to lots of unknowns). Authorities aren't going to do anything if you are just spamming re-direct links - they only care if you are hosting video or more importantly taking the video or stills.
I have quite a bit of experience with reporting this as well as with trying to stop this sort of thing. If any Mod wants to chat you know how to get me.
I find that the hardest thing in the world right now is to keep middle school & high school kids off facebook & social media. Second to that is to deal with Nigerian scams, porn/child porn, spam & adware, etc.
On some level you guys need to relax and have a level head - I PM random people all the time here on ET (or get random PMs) but I always click "find recent posts & threads" to make sure I know who it is.
There is some really F'd up sh*t out there and on some level you just need to know that you clicked on the link and even though you might be pissed you won't go to jail and hopefully next time you'll learn that if it seems odd it probably is.
