Although I do have one advantage. I run my own mail server so IF I want to give someone a chance I give them a unique email addy that is an alias for my main account. Then if they start spamming, I delete the alias and my main email remains in tact. I do this for every company, web page, etc. that I have to register for.

I can tell you a story that happened to a fellow trader of mine here on elite. He posted his results and got a flood of PM's. The majority were traders starting out but their were 3 traders who asked for his email address and the fool gave it to them. They sent him emails with various questions and so fort but what they also included in the HTML code of the email was a Trojan that locked onto his execution platform. He had his email set up to receive not in plain text but in HTML. When I saw the emails I knew straight away HE WAS HIT. I know from this that there are people on this board who do this type of thing so if you have an edge NEVER POST YOU RESULTS. ITS ASKING FOR TROUBLE.

Do you mind elaborating on how ths is possible. How can a tojan get a lock on x_trader or ninja trader for example?

Gosh,this is scary !

What you have to do to disable HTML in your email ?
Are you safe from people who use free e-mail services like Hotmail,Yahoo , Gmail ,etc and you use such free e-mail services yourself ?
