War with Russia ?

Firstly, let's remember that the only reason this entire Russia/US thing is going on is that Puttin, being the KGB-Cold War Throwback, baby that he is, threatened to point missiles at EUROPEAN countries because he is pissed about a missile defense shield.

My question is, why would Puttin be worried if Poland and Czechoslovakia had a missile defense shield?

Obviously it pisses him off because Russia's influence in that area is diminished because it makes Russia's threat SLIGHTLY diminished.

Your 100% right and Russia is playing hard ball for $$$ let's face it.

That being said it's not what you do that matters but how you do it.

Why does BUSH feel that he can just bully anyone he wants to with the military.

The US is not great the US Military is kick friggin ass GREAT.

Bush has abused these men and women long enough and THEY deserve better !!!!

I guess what Bush is doing is to create a mess for the Democrats. I think we have enough of the Bush and Republican. If the Republican so happen to win, they will continue waging wars on other countries. This will create wealth for the select few. Like Cheney and HAL.

Please don't make the mistake of equating Republicans and Bush. He has turned out to be a horrible president, but he is not well like by most Republicans either. He actually has very few conservative ideologies. He is liberal on spending, he is liberal on immigration. He has lowered taxes, which is good, but continued to spend like no one's business. And he is obviously hawkish on terrorism which I believe is correct. His main problem is that he went to war in Iraq, with little after thought to what kind of a balance problem that would create in regards to Iran.

I believe his heart was in the right place, but he certainly did not have the right plan in place with Iraq.

I really shouldn’t be posting while the market is open so this will be my last for now.

1. Since the world consists mostly of commies, socialists, dictators, and thugs, I could care less what the “world” thinks of the US. Isn’t it ironic that so many of those that “hate America” still want to become US citizens?

2. The world hates the US because of one man? I wish I had that kind of power.

No, the world hates the US because of one party and irresponsible Americans. The debate to go to war is over; liberals are still debating the issue for the world to see. The reasons we went to war are now totally irrelevant, liberals are still playing 20/20 hindsight for the world to see. The fact is troops are on the ground, we’ve taken out the Taliban and a brutal dictator, and the US now has a moral responsibility to provide 50+ million people the opportunity to enjoy the greatest gift in life, freedom.

American values dictate that we not abandon 50+ million to brutal dictators and thugs like we did in Vietnam.
