The pols put the word "change" in front of them with no clear definition, made "equality under the law" to mean "economic equality", teamed up with the Medical Cartel, Legal Cartel, Finance Cartel and the War Cartel, borrowed from the next two generations to make it all seem successful and got the votes.. People who knew better over reacted and built a spy system, rode herd on Drug Cartels, etc. so they could be in position to take over when it all collapsed... It's a crazy frigging scenario we are in for sure.


Edit: I really can't stand McCain, of all the Politicians he is the one I just can't stand. He made a big play to screw over the natural health industry on behalf of the Medical Cartel once, as did the Clintons.. My list of politicians I can't stand has three people on it and it will never change unless a worse one comes along... the current candidate is Dick Durbin. He keeps trying to destroy the natural health industry. I am more motivated to put money into a campaign to destroy his political career than I am to support anybody locally...

You guys are aware that the boomers got to enjoy the draft, 14-18% interest on their first homes, sky high inflation during the 70's, probably lost their first job during the restructering of the 80's, had a great 90's, only to see their 401K crash and burn in 2000, built back up again, then burn again in 08 just as retirement approached, finding out that retirement is an illusion for most ,and age discrimination prevents you from getting another decent job. Other than that, it's been fucking great.
I got news for you youngsters. Every generation thinks they got fucked. You ain't inventing any new ideas about that.

I have total respect for military veterans. Unlike the masses of braindead shitheads, veterans are usually quite informed, understand our system of Government and vote to defend the rights they put their lives on the line for.

The sick irony to all this - all the grandiose social programs the Boomers are relying on to fund their retirement (robbed from their children, of course), won't be there when shit goes down in a few years. Tax receipts are gunna dry up and the deficit won't exist because no one will loan us money. Medicare, medicaid, obamacare, HUD, EBT cards, Social Security - the whole lot of it - will take a 50% haircut. Mark my words. It's fitting tho. There is no doubt that the boomers were one of the most successful/hard working generations, but for some reason, when they had it all, they decided to abandon the principles that got them there, with the desire to create a utopian society, thinking that everyones life should be easy and fair

It was a noble concept, but clearly, it didnt work.

I understand the younger generations' lament about the Boomers situation... but they NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING.. and especially not at the expense of their kids and grandkids (like you).

Greedy, morally corrupt politicos campaigned on giving everybody more in exchange for their vote. More was promised than can be afforded.

The Boomers paid the most into the social programs... paid the most in taxes to run the government, military, infrastructure... everything. They are expecting "the benefits which they were told all along would be there", but guess what? There isn't enough money to pay for all of that.

The ONLY group to "make out" on our grand social experiment (Ponzi scheme) is the one before the Boomers. EVERYBODY ELSE GETS FUCKED!
