With the Trump administration teetering on the edge the future of Europe looks evermore bleak.

Europe is fine.

Personality trait studies shows that doom/conspiracy theorists tend to be more mistrustful of other people. Particularly of higher authority. What is interesting is they also tend to have an authoritarian personality which means they tend to believe in and follow strong leaders.

They want things to be regimented, have an order and also tend to blame other people for their problems.

So today a young man in London (18 on profile) is feeling a little powerless and goes A..B...Nuclear war.

I recall many long chats with coffee back in the 80s during the Cold War when the USSR's motives & plans were a mystery the same waves of we-are-all-fucked dismay rising and falling. Seeing it coming around again is interesting however this old dog reckons that MAD and the desire to live that kept both sides apart in the Cold War still dominate.
