WaPo: ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ One of Biggest Lies of 2015

I couldn't tell anything from the video but the news account certainly made it sound like another cop looking for an excuse to shoot someone. Basically he confronted a homeless drunk guy who did woodcarving, who had an open pocketknife. cop tells him to drop it, guy does nothing, four seconds later cop guns him down. DA says "no malice." Shooting someone in cold blood isn't evidence of malice?

How can it be "cold blood" if there is a crazy drunken Indian walking around with a BIG knife that won't do what the officer told him to do? That Indian probably had the "kill" look in his eyes as he was looking at the cop. Therefore, a dead Indian. Which is better than a dead cop.

He was no threat to the cop or anyone else apparently. The cop told him to drop the knife, then shot him immediately. I didn't see what happened, but it seems troubling.

I don't like the idea that some trigger-happy cop feels he has justification to kill you because you don't instantly obey him. Maybe there are situations where it is justified , but this doesn't seem like one of them.

Please don't give me the lecture about how dangerous a bladed weapon is, etc. I get that. But apparently the cop violated procedure and closed the distance to this man, thereby putting himself in more danger. He could have called for backup, which was on the scene in a matter of minutes. Instead he shoots a guy after four seconds.

The evidence speaks for itself.
If you’re going to speak at a rally at a high profile rally with Rev. Al Sharpton on how the #BlackLivesMatter movement is peaceful, it’s best not to wear that same outfit when lighting a convenience store on fire.
KSDK reported that Joshua Williams, an 19-year old #BlackLivesMatter activist was arrested last December and pleaded guilty to charges of arson, stealing, and 2nd degree burglary. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison on Dec. 10
