No that was just a heads up. I'd suggest giving them a call and talking to them about it. I think they're an honest shop that got thrown into a bad light by carcanaques (who is connected to Trading Zoo and had an agenda) who wanted to make Trading Zoo's Sam Baum look good by falsely citing Eliot at Mirus.
I'd give 'em a call just to see. Infosec is not something to play around with these days.
Mirus is a very reputable broker with a good reputation.
Ignore Reaver. He has a personal issue with Mirus and the TradingZoo and will slam anyone or anything he thinks ties them together. Just another guy with a chip on his shoulder making baseless claims he can't back up, like saying I'm affiliated with TZ.
He slandered Mirus with his so-called negative "review" and will probably have to answer for that.

First, the word you're looking for is libel, not slander. If Mirus has a problem with my posting the review they can kiss my ass if they aren't willing to set the record straight. You made the claim that they provided Sam Baum's private information to you. You are the one alleging that the illegal activity took place. I am merely pointing out that the act you are describing is in fact illegal and I would not want to do business with a company that does not protect my private data.
I left a positive review for Mirus as well to offset the negative simply because all I have to go on is your word, and seeing as how you work for Trading Zoo, that doesn't say much. Nonetheless, Mirus should set the record straight because you have accused one of the principals of the company as having violated a FEDERAL REGULATION.
If you are not affiliated with Trading Zoo, then why are you falsely accusing Eliot from Mirus as having illegally divulged the information about Sam Baum? Either you're telling the truth and therefore I am right and totally grounded in my saying Mirus is in violation of the Privacy Act of 1974....or you're full of shit, which only points to your being affiliated with Trading Zoo, or else why would you make up false positive broker citations about the owner of TZ?
