Of course 2 days after I buy Capital One ahead of Master Card IPO, They go out and purchase a huge bank (Which is going to make the stock trade more like a bank and less like consumer lender ---LOWER MULTIPLE)

I have been watching your journal for only a few days and wonder how in the world do you keep track of all of your trades. I really like the work that you have put into your spreadsheet. I do not have much experience with Excel spreadsheet, but I was wondering if you type in each days price or do you upload the daily price somehow. I would like to start tracking my stocks on a spreadsheet like yours. Thanks.

Hey Jon I use VectorVest Live to track all my trades and my Portfolio is through UBS....It is a simple Export Function For the Closing Price's, # Shares, Dollar Costed AVG. Price, and many other features....

It takes all of 30 sec. to update the sheet everyday when I don't change it from yesterday....But It takes about 20 min. sometimes when I have many transactions....Mostly because of the Diversification Chart and Countries and Closed transactions...

The sheet is a good templet to start from Just put in price and Number of shares and cost it does all the work for you just delete rows you don't need....GL

I must say the only one I still own is AVNX...I got my quick fix to do a little day trading and went back to basics...

CHINA-4.33 (Dollar costing a Bad Move last week)

TSN@12.66---This is just pure valuation long term hold....3 cases of Mad cow in 3 years in the US, Bird Flu not in America yet , but the street has priced Bird Flu into TSN...I still think US get Beef Exports going to get stronger in next 6 months...And I am still eating Chicken and Steak and Pork.....NOW a Pig disease may make me sell!!!!!!

Don't think I will be doing much today...But pouring Scotch....I doubt I get the Annomoly in the green today...But we'll SEE...

Even LEA bounced a little today----- NOW That's a Birthday present, A dog on the way UP...HAHA
