I didn't lose anything on it, because I did not place money on the trade. I think this is the second time I will be admitting that I got that call TOTALLY WRONG.

Why is it new immigrants, with passports freshly stamped, will proudly boast "theyre not American" and quickly tell everyone else their country of origin whenever asked?

But when pressed about the differences between Americans and new immigrants, these same new immigrants will insist "ALL AMERICANS ARE THE SAME".

When people ask me where Im from..... I tell them, "Im Canadian"....

And they say, "ya, but where are you from.....?!?"

And I say, "Im Canadian. Ancestors got here over 300 years ago. Mix of Western European".

Many of them sit there quietly surprised. Most immigrants are recent as of 30 years ago.

Many immigrants don't seem to grasp people have been here for hundreds of years.

In Denmark, they make the immigrants learn Danish, learn the Traditions, practice the holidays......YOU KNOW.....INTEGRATE. RESPECT THE CULTURE LANGUAGE TRADITIONS AND LAWS OF THE COUNTRY THAT TAKES U IN
 
Would any of us move to a foreign country, disregard all their native traditions, customs, holidays, language and culture? And just stay in an English speaking American community, eat cheese burgers and watch NFL all day long?
