On November 10th we will have a half day forum on Fund Exits - Mergers, Acquisitions, Restructuring and Secondaries. Mergers between funds and other financial institutions continues to grow. Multiple funds have been acquired or merged this year. Limited Partners looking to smooth their liquidity flows have sought to place stakes in the secondary markets rather than wait for long term private equity investments to mature or for gated hedge fund stakes to free up. A New York City Family of Private Equity Funds seeks a Chairman with significant senior PE Experience (10 to 20 years Domestic and/or International) and outstanding personal track record. They will have knowledge/experience with manufacturing clients is a plus, as is familiarity/relationships in emerging marketsâspecifically LATIM or Asia. The fund acquires middle market industrial companies with significant US exports or similar US companies that could move manufacturing operations to Mexico or the Philippines.
